Randy Roberts originally founded the law firm in 1982. Shortly after the law firm was established Randy Roberts was recognized locally for obtaining one of the largest wrongful death settlements in the area.

Soon Bruce Roberts joined Randy Roberts and the firm became known as Roberts and Roberts. Later their sister Karen Roberts joined and then Sean Hester, another board certified attorney joined the firm. The firm now consists of five attorneys and numerous staff.

The firm specializes in the representation of injured people including claims for wrongful death and bodily injury. Roberts & Roberts Lawfirm has represented people injured and killed in truck, auto and motorcycle accidents, industrial, construction and oil field accidents as well as claims for unsafe and defective products and equipment.

The firm has not only developed a local reputation and a state reputation for representing injured people but also earned a national reputation. In 2001 the firm was recognized by Time, Newsweek, CNN and NBC Dateline for its role in uncovering the documents that lead to the recall of Firestone radial ATX and Wilderness lines of tires. The groundbreaking work done by Randy Roberts in that case is featured in McGraw Hills College textbook on corporate crime entitled Criminology and Criminal Justice System. Texas Monthly has named both Randy and Bruce Roberts as Texas super lawyers.

Roberts and Roberts holds the highest rating (AV) from the Martindale-Hubbel attorney rating service and is included in the Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers â„¢.
